SUPERVISOR/Machine Operator
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee the production of CNC Sheet Metal Machines, Finn presses, Turret machines, and Coil Expanders.
The ideal candidate will lead a team, ensure high-quality output, maintain safety standards, and optimize production efficiency for the specialized equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Oversight: Supervise daily operations to ensure products are completed on time, meet quality standards, and comply with safety regulations
- Team Leadership: Train and manage production staff; provide performance evaluations; resolve conflicts; and foster a team-oriented involvement.
- Scheduling & Planning: Develop and implement production schedules, allocate resources, and adjust workflows to meet delivery target.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality standards; work with quality teams to address defects and implement corrective actions.
- Equipment Management: Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot Finn presses, Turret machines, and expanders; coordinate maintenance and repairs.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA and other safety regulations; ensure a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Performance Monitoring: Track production metrics, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to increase yield and reduce waste.
- Reporting: Prepare and present production reports to management, including output, quality, and safety data.
- Coach and Train employees.
- Must be computer proficient
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in manufacturing or production supervision, with direct experience in machinery or equipment production.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, ability to read technical drawings, and familiarity with CNC, press, and machine operation.
- Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; commitment to continuous improvement
Hours:
Mon-Fri 11:30a-8:00p or 9:00p
Pay depends on experience.
$25.00 hr.
