Purchasing Assistant (Construction Materials)
DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE?????
Duties:
– Assist with the procurement process, including sourcing and purchasing materials, products, and services.
– Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
– Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier information.
– Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production planning to ensure adequate supply.
– Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
Skills:
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
– Proficient in using computer software and systems related to purchasing and inventory control.
– Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
– Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze information and make informed decisions.
Note: Experience in e-commerce or production planning is a plus.
