Stone Bridge Personnel is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Powder Blending LEAD for a temp-to-hire opportunity in a manufacturing environment.
Schedule & Pay:
- Location: Benbrook, TX
- Shift: Monday – Thursday | 5:45 AM – 4:30 PM
- Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow detailed work instructions for powder blending and production processes
- Perform machine setup, operate industrial equipment, and input machine settings into blender controls
- Complete daily check sheets and submit to supervisor at the end of each shift
- Maintain equipment, perform cleaning, and communicate equipment issues to maintenance
- Anticipate environmental conditions (weather, humidity) and adjust blending processes accordingly
- Coordinate with Quality and other departments to ensure production readiness
- Operate a forklift to safely move powder bins within the facility
- Train and provide direction to employees involved in the powder blending process
- Ensure compliance with general safety practices, Quality policies, OSHA regulations, and AS/ISO 9100 standards
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department supervisor
Qualifications & Skills:
- General safety and quality awareness; AS/ISO 9100 knowledge preferred
- Ability to read machine settings and enter data into blender controls
- Knowledge of assembly processes and quality control
- Strong mechanical aptitude for equipment assembly, disassembly, cleaning, and maintenance
- Ability to understand and operate industrial machinery
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills demonstrating tact, patience, and courtesy
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
