Shift: 3rd Shift, 10:30 PM 7:00 AM
About the Position
Stone Bridge is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a well-established client in the Tyler, TX area. The ideal candidate brings comprehensive mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to maintain industrial equipment and systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Heavy electrical experience is required this role demands proven, hands-on electrical skills, not just general maintenance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in response to equipment errors or failures during production
- Repair or produce parts using welders or machine tools lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and other shop equipment
- Perform repairs to LP-powered lift trucks and conduct preventative maintenance
- Assemble, install, or repair electrical/electronic devices, pipe systems, machinery, and equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits using schematics and manuals
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance as directed by supervisor
- Test all repairs and installations for correct functionality
- Record all work and parts in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Ensure safe work practices and company policies are followed at all times
- Must be willing and available to work any shift, including weekends
Qualifications ALL Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years welding & fabrication
- 2+ years reading blueprints & schematics
- 2+ years industrial maintenance experience
- 2+ years PLC motor control experience
- 2+ years experience with chillers, boilers & air compressors
- 2+ years heavy electrical experience
