Shift: 3rd 10:30PM – 7:00AM
About the position:
Stone Bridge is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a well-established client in the Tyler, TX area. The ideal candidate brings comprehensive mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to maintain industrial equipment and systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Description: Heavy electrical experience required. This role demands candidates with proven, hands-on electrical skills – not just general maintenance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in response to equipment errors or failures during production
- Repair or produce parts using welders or machine tools — lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and other shop equipment
- Perform repairs to LP-powered lift trucks and conduct preventative maintenance
- Assemble, install, or repair electrical/electronic devices, pipe systems, machinery, and equipment (strong electrical experience required)
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits using schematics and manuals
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment as directed by supervisor
- Test all repairs and installations for correct functionality
- Record all work and parts in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Ensure safe work practices and company policies are followed at all times
- Must be willing and available to work any shift, including weekends
