Job Overview We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Lab Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing lab. The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, sharp attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve testing samples as required
- Conduct material testing per lab specification sheets
- Perform verification checks on laboratory equipment
- Promptly report any equipment issues or malfunctions
- Exercise authority to hold and reject defective materials
- Follow all laboratory safety protocols and procedures
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of all tests conducted
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient lab operations
Requirements
- Solid, stable work history our client is seeking a long-term team member
- Computer literate
- Basic math proficiency
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
- Availability for 56 shifts per week, including 12-hour shifts and required overtime
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certification a plus)
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent experience in an Industrial laboratory setting
- Familiarity with standard lab equipment and testing procedures
- Background in quality control processes
- Knowledge of laboratory safety regulations
