Administrative Assistant

Position Overview

Stone Bridge Personnel is seeking an experienced detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to our client located in Tyler, Tx. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of municipal government processes, public records management, and meeting coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with creating, printing, and posting agendas
  • Set up for meetings; attend and record all information at meetings
  • Scan, index, and file resolutions, proclamations, deeds, easements, and council items
  • Update the company website and web calendar
  • Process open records requests within the time-period mandated by the Texas Public Information Act by coordinating with appropriate internal departments
  • Assist with specific programs
  • Process contracts and perform research
  • Assist with presentations and internal training on office processed
  • Receive advertisements, process publications, and submit invoices to various departments
  • Assist with municipal election coordination and ensure compliance with Texas Local Government Laws, Texas Election Code, and other election rules
  • Manage candidates’ filing of required reports and other election documents
  • Assist with TABC applications
  • Answer phones e

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of general clerical/administrative experience
  • Texas Class C driver’s license
  • Ability to obtain a State of Texas Notary Public Commission within six (6) months of hire

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Computer literacy including website management
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn municipal government procedures
