    We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sourcing / Procurement Specialist to join our team and drive strategic sourcing initiatives across various categories. In this role, you will be responsible for managing procurement processes, negotiating contracts, and building strong supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of quality materials and services. Your expertise in procurement management, supply chain management, and ERP systems will be instrumental in optimizing costs and enhancing operational efficiency.     Duties

    The Sourcing / Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the acquisition of goods and services required to support company operations. This role focuses on supplier sourcing, cost control, contract compliance, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality standards and adherence to company procurement policies.

    · Key Responsibilities

    · Sourcing & Supplier Management

    · Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers based on cost, quality, capacity, and reliability

    · Request and analyze quotations, bids, and proposals from vendors

    · Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and contracts to achieve cost savings and value

    · Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and develop new sourcing channels

    · Procurement Operations

    · Cost Control & Compliance

    · Monitor spending against budgets and procurement thresholds

    · Support cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives

    · Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and applicable regulations

    · Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation

    · Cross-Functional Coordination

    · Collaborate with engineering, production, finance, and warehouse teams to understand requirements

    · Support inventory planning and demand forecasting as needed

    · Assist in vendor performance reviews and corrective actions

    · Reporting & Analysis

    · Prepare procurement reports, including spend analysis and supplier performance metrics

    · Maintain procurement data within cloud systems

    Qualifications

    Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred

    Experience

    2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain (level may vary by role)

    Experience in manufacturing or operations environments preferred

    Skills & Competencies

    Strong negotiation and analytical skills

    Knowledge of procurement best practices and sourcing strategies

    Proficiency with Rippling systems and Microsoft Excel

    Excellent communication and vendor management skills

    Strong attention to detail and organizational ability

    Working Conditions

    Office-based with occasional interaction with suppliers or warehouse/production areas

    May require handling multiple priorities under tight deadlines

    3. Responsible for properly preparing the tunnel for application of paint, including wash, zinc plating, drying and primer.

     

    4. Accountable for the proper mixing of paints and epoxy.

    9. Responsible for keeping abreast of proper painting processes and techniques, and insuring that all steps of paint process and schedule is followed completely in regards to completion and quality.

     

    10. Responsible for recommending and insuring that quality and productivity needs and improvements are communicated to the lead person or supervisor, in order that the Paint operation is the industry leader.

    11: Travel to location – for the unforeseeable future 

    • Responsible for high level of effective communication within and across departments, as well as management levels.
    • Participate in Company Safety Program through safety meetings, audits, following good safe work practices and maintaining a safety and clean work environment.

    Equipment Operator – Class A CDL

    About the Role

    We are looking for a skilled and dependable Equipment Operator with a valid Class A CDL to join our team. This is a hands-on field position working in the water and sewer industry. The ideal candidate brings experience operating heavy equipment specifically operating a backhoe, a solid understanding of underground utilities, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a variety of conditions.


    Responsibilities

    Equipment Operation Operate backhoes, loaders, and track hoes as needed. Run power equipment including gas-powered compaction packers, cut-off saws, hydraulic saws, hydraulic jackhammers, hydraulic pumps, air tools, impact wrenches, and more. Use hand tools and specialty tools common to the water and sewer industry.

    Water & Sewer Installation and Repair Install, replace, and repair D.I., PVC, C.I., and clay pipe and their associated appurtenances. Operate water and sewer tapping machines with basic plumbing knowledge. Set water meters and meter boxes, and run water services from the main line to the property. Install, replace, and repair fire hydrants, water valves, and paving boxes. Install, replace, and repair precast concrete manholes, risers, and ring/lid assemblies.

    Site & Traffic Control Understand and direct the setup of traffic control devices and road closures. Cut concrete, ductile iron pipe, PVC, clay, and cast iron pipe. Pour and finish concrete as required.

    Documentation & Communication Read construction plans and complete materials estimates. Maintain accurate records and complete all required paperwork. Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers. Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language.

    Availability Respond to emergency calls outside of normal working hours as needed.


    Requirements

    • Valid Class A CDL — required
    • Experience operating backhoes, loaders, and track hoes
    • Familiarity with water and sewer tapping machines and related materials
    • Knowledge of pipe materials including D.I., PVC, C.I., and clay pipe
    • Experience with fire hydrant, water valve, and manhole installation and repair
