Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Culture and drive our Mission, Vision, and Values
- Serve as a business partner and key support resource to the company
- Will deliver on goals and objectives as assigned within the Merchandising and Planning team
- Strong focus on data entry and purchasing system maintenance
- PO Entry and maintenance in coordination with the EDI Project from Special Orders
- Excel Spreadsheets
- Logs – Tracking of information regarding POs
- Internal Customer Service. Receive phone calls with PO Requests from stores. Accurately and quickly resolve their need
- Frequent interaction with the Buyers, Associate Buyers, Assistant Buyers, Planners and the Merchandising Department
- Running and maintaining PO related reports
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Office Suites
- Successful track record in detailed, quality work
- Based in Tyler, TX at our home office; Tyler area residence

- Demonstrated knowledge and proven ability to execute with accuracy at a high pace
- Functional expertise in areas of Buying, Merchandising, Planning, Allocations and Inventory Control
- Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills
- Fast and highly accurate data entry in all systems/Microsoft Suite and Excel
- Focus on the external and internal customer. Strong service skills
- Excel knowledge including: formulas, sorting, headers and footers, copy and paste, subtotals, sizing and page breaks, and freeze panes
- A proven track record working successfully with programs such as Jesta, Vision Essentus, Serenade and Micros
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Illustrate a dedication to meeting requirements of internal and external customers, responding to all customer requests promptly and thoroughly
