Machine Mechanic/Shift Machinist
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING ON CNC MACHINES
Machinist and Machine repair, for Lathes and Vertical Mill Machines
Conducts machine setup, tool offset, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service on CNC machinery and miscellaneous equipment.
Mechanic skills include, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
Diagnose problems, replace, and repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Work Environment — Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
Physical Demands – Regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.
Shift Hours – This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday Thursday 6:00am – 4:30 pm OR 4:30pm – 3:00am
Required Education and Experience – High school diploma/GED (preferred)
5+ years of manufacturing and CNC experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC (preferred)
Preferred Education and Experience – Mechanical, electrical, and industrial mechanic. CNC experience a plus
